a rough scope and a real price in your inbox within a working day.

Tell us the topic and who it’s for. A producer — not an autoresponder — reads it, sketches the modules, and comes back with a number you can actually take to whoever signs off. Messy notes welcome. Half a book? Also fine.

Rough is perfect. We’ll do the sorting — that’s literally the job.

what to bring to the scoping call (it’s less than you think)

Thirty minutes, one producer, zero homework. Here’s honestly all that helps — and the stuff people stay up late making that we don’t need.

worth having handy

  • your topic, in one sentence

“Wound-care basics for new grad nurses” beats a paragraph. We’ll unpack it together.

  • who’s actually taking it

A job title or a type of person. “Everyone” makes a course nobody finishes.

  • where it’ll live

Canvas, Moodle, TalentLMS, Docebo, something homegrown — the name helps us pick SCORM 1.2, 2004 or xAPI.

  • a date, if there is one

An accreditation deadline or a product launch changes how we schedule filming.

  • the pile

Slides, notes, a half-written book, a link to a webinar. A shared folder is fine. So is “it’s mostly in my head.”

don’t bother with

  • a polished deck

We’d just take it apart for the script anyway.

  • a finished outline

Building the module map with you is part of scripting — that’s on us.

  • camera gear

The kit ships to you — light, lav mic, tablet prompter, return label.

  • nerves about the camera

The scoping call’s audio-optional. Filming is directed live, in short takes.

Dropping by? Ring (360) 931-6159 first — half the crew’s usually on a video call directing someone’s filming day. You never need to visit, though; everything works over video.

quick ones people ask before reaching out

  • we’re nowhere near new jersey. does that matter?

Not a bit. Scoping calls and filming direction both happen over video, and the kit ships to your door with a prepaid return label. Edgewater’s just where the edit suite lives.

  • can our lms admin join the scoping call?

Please do. Ten minutes of them telling us about completion rules and pass marks saves a week of back-and-forth later. Just add their email when you write in.

  • is the scoping call actually free?

Yep. Thirty minutes, no invoice, and no twelve-email follow-up sequence afterwards. The only thing that follows is the written scope.

  • any ballpark before i reach out?

A pilot lesson is $2,480 flat, a short course runs $11,650, and a full curriculum starts from $27,900. Piece-by-piece pricing lives on the services page.
